- Installation
- Eastern High School’s design features an impressive external curve. Siniat’s 2nd Generation Weather Defence board was specified to fulfil Powell Dobson’s striking vision for its durability and flexibility, which allowed it to be curved around the concave façade. With fixed term dates, the project could not afford delays. Weather Defence™’s combined water, weather and mould resistance means it can be left exposed for up to 12 months during construction, allowing internal work to begin before the external façade is closed. Siniat’s multi-purpose Megadeco , was specified across large sections of the school to simplify and speed up its construction. Fire Core Board was chosen for its superior fire resistance; the material can contain an outbreak for up to 120 minutes as part of the Siniat Shaftwall Fire Protection system.
