Healthcare

Public or private, health facilities are subject to strong functional, regulatory and economic constraints. Their design must integrate the presence of highly specialized spaces, respond to safety of users and staff and limit maintenance costs.

The diversity of services and functional units in a hospital makes this sector the most complex of building types. Key drylining considerations include:

  • Meeting extraordinary acoustic, fire, impact and hygiene demands
  • Accommodating heavy service demands and mechanical requirements
  • Contributing to the creation of an architecturally impressive building
  • The km volume of partitions to construct

SYSTEMS FOR HEALTHCARE

FIRE PROTECTION AND SHAFTWALLS

Siniat Shaftwall range use a specially designed system to protect voids and shafts in healthcare buildings. It resists pressure changes and enables installation from one side of the shaft only.

Fire protection shaftwall systems are typically needed for:

  • Service shafts
  • Stairway walls and isolated passages
  • Stairways and public passageways
  • Plant rooms

PARTITIONS

The Siniat range of metal stud profiles provides system solutions for education building projects. Combining the right plasterboard, fixings, frame and finishing products gives partition solutions up to the most demanding levels of fire, acoustic and thermal performance.

Partition systems are typically needed for:

  • Smoke walls and fire compartment walls
  • Corridors
  • Partition walls including wet areas
  • Foyers
  • Radiation shield walls
  • Plant room

SUSPENDED CEILINGS

Siniat Floor and Ceiling systems are used to achieve acoustic and fire rated solutions for education projects. There are a large range of solutions available, from direct soffit application to the creation of full supporting frames, which can be built in large runs.

Floor and ceiling systems are typically needed for:

  • Roofs and ceilings
  • Corridors
  • Foyers
  • Wards
  • Waiting rooms

SUPPORTING YOUR PROJECT

For larger projects, we add value before, during and after the construction phase. Working with the project team, we can support the initial tender, finding ways to improve aesthetics or building performance, cut construction costs, reduce build times or suggest ways to lower on-going maintenance costs.
